Glass drinking set
Crystal and alabaster blown, pasted, 4 pieces, contains a carafe and three glasses, made in 2017, height 9 and 27 cm, (Zí)
The author graduated this year from Rony Plesl’s glass studio at the AAAD in Prague. The drinking set on offer was her bachelor’s thesis. The author pasted the individual pieces together out of two perfectly matched, cut, and polished parts. The top part is thin-walled; the bottom part is made of a solid piece of alabaster glass. Thus the center of gravity is shifted downward. Although they have a rather small base, the glasses are stable.
